While watching Rich Schefren’s unprecedented 24 (26hr) live UStream video I posted a quick question on the live chat sidebar. Another viewer, who is an internet marketer, saw that I was a sailor and said that he kitesurfs in Florida. We started following each other on Twitter. While testing a Twitpic post through Flickr I saw his post from a kitesurf trip to the beach today. Thought I’d share the pic. Thanks Ryan.

With all the current “depressing” financial news, jobless claims rising, markets teetering on collapse, and a statistic I just heard that over 50% of people don’t respect their boss/ think they are incompetent, and 80% hate their jobs.
I did some searching to get a feel for how people are dealing with things these days, I came across this article while searching for the phrase “does your life suck ? “. It should serve as a good reminder to help keep our heads right when things get tough. Here it is. (more…)

Well this is it. It’s one of the biggest and most important launches on the internet. I was behind the curve since I was busy with my own business and didn’t have time to talk about this sooner. But, I needed to get this out. Rich Schefren/ Strategic Profits is launching his first coaching program in approx. 2yrs where he’ll be doing the coaching.
I’m a client of his and was in the last coaching program and still am. I’m kicking myself since I didn’t really start putting everything into play until the last few months. I was busy the past 2 yrs with my real estate business and although I “dabbled” used some of the things I learned, I’m now on a train going 100 mph implementing everything he teaches.
I’m serious when I say it’s changed my life, both business and personal. I can’t tell you what a difference it’s make in both my internet business and my offline real estate business. I don’t think Rich Schefren will be doing another coaching program (where you’re actually coached by him) again for another few years, if he even does one again. It’s very time intensive and he doesn’t have the time to do this on a regular basis.
I’m seriously kicking myself for having this same coaching program available and only utilizing maybe 1/100th of what he offered. I wish I could have the last 2 years back so I could gone through the program and had him by my side to answer questions as I implemented the things he teaches.
Many of the internet gurus online today- Frank Kern, Mike Filsaime, Brad Fallon, Jim Edwards, and several others are clients and I think were we would be today had I taken the coaching seriously and implemented everything I was learning 2yrs ago.
That’s it, watch the quick video, go to the link HERE and if you do nothing else, at least get his FREE reports since they are more valuable than most of the information that you pay for online. I’m literally re-reading 3 of his reports and they are sitting on my desk now. I’m using them as a guide as we implement a lot of the things we’re doing.

Killer App for rapid learning- Photoreading
Posted by toddslifeblog under Personal Development | Tags: Personal Development, photoreading, speed learning |Leave a Comment
After blowing this off for over 18mos. (because I was too busy) I finally ordered Photoreading from Learning Strategies Corp.
You’ve heard the phrase “too busy chopping wood to sharpen the saw” well I can’t think of how much time I’ve wasted over the past year and a half reading things over and over, half paying attention, etc. I’m kicking myself for the time wasted getting up to speed on a topic that could have been implemented that much sooner.
Anyway, I’m going through the basics on a promo video now awaiting the course (that I had shipped next day air). Can’t wait to put this killer app into play. If anyone is struggling to keep up with the deluge of information, I implore you to get this course and use it.

I wanted to make this up for breaking my rig
Posted by toddslifeblog under Personal | Tags: windsurfing |Leave a Comment
Check out how cool blogging is. I used the tags windsurfing, avoid burnout, marketing, etc on last post when I rigged up to windsurf in remnants of trop storm Hanna. I logged into my dashboard and there is a great tool called Tag Surfing. The windsurfing tag picked up a killer video of some fantastic footage of sailing in Furteventura in the Canary Islands.
We stopped there before crossing the pond on my transatlantic sailling trip from France to the Caribbean last year. Ironic or what. some of the best windsurfing in the world. I had to post this since it’s the least I could do for crappy video upload, then breaking my rig w/ nothing to show. Enjoy, these guys are incredible.

I took a break from setting up blogs to do some windsurfing after trop storm hanna passed through. At least I thought it was a break. Will work on video quality. not sure why the conversion to flash sucked. Will try again now and upload just wanted to get this up. As usual, a lot of learning curves.

Calm before the storm

Quick note. Tropical Storm is headed our way but we’re only expecting 2″ of rain and “some” gusts to 40mph.
Looks like great windsurfing weather. I only have one 6.0m sail and it’s good up to about 20-25kts so I may take it out for a spin. You don’t usually get good winds like this in summer. If I get out there I’ll take some video and put it up.
Rich Schefren talks about “miller time” and making sure you set aside some down time to avoid burn out. I fully embrace it. I have about 2-4 hrs before the winds pick up and it’s now a goal to finish setting up blogs, finalizing training website layout, start email campaign, Craigslist ads posted, some boring paperwork, then windsurf and chill for the afternoon. Will probably be back at it again late this afternoon until we get training site up and running.
Make sure you set aside time to decompress after a project or long stretch of work. You will be 10x more productive when you return.
Until next time….
